PvE Missions

(Comes with anti-cheat algorithms)

It is important to onboard new players into the game world through easy to play PvE game modes. These new modes will bring progressive depth and end game variety to Reign of Terror. On mission start, players choose their Squad make up and equipment. Players complete the mission objectives and earn a star rating(up to three stars) based on how well the mission was completed.

Star Ratings for Mission Completion

Players can unlock the next mission by completing the missions with at least one star, but gaining a three star rating will provide the player with more experience points and rewards. Most of the time, players will need to actively play the game in order to maximize the stars. This helps with replay value.

One Star - player barely makes it. Rewards are usually parts for crafting.

Two Stars - player did well in completing the mission. Rewards are usually parts, chance for a NFT and cores.

Three Stars - player has mastered the mission. Rewards are usually rarer parts, chance for a NFT, cores and chance for catalyst items for higher level Agent fusions.

Bonus For Completing all Missions with 3 Stars in a Chapter - Imperial Mission

This mode unlocks when the player completes all Missions with a three-star rating in a chapter. When players play the level, they will encounter random NPC fighters. Each level has a random Boss. If the player defeats the boss, they can choose one of three reward crates to open. Some crates are marked with “Imperial Pass Only” meaning that only players who enrolled in the Imperial Pass program can get to choose that particular chest, which has an increased chance of holding rare loot.

Single Player Mission Types

Daily Missions

Daily missions are randomized and can be completed along with story based missions.

Cyber Hacking Focused Missions

The player needs to sabotage and hack into a highly guarded facility. The player choose a path to avoid major fights or find ways to distract or disarm and silence the NPC guards in order to enter the next sector as they encounter different types of NPCs. Players can choose a squad of Agents and use each of them to cleverly overcome the NPCs and game obstacles to complete the mission. There are several hackable systems like robots, gate access etc.

Defense Survival Missions

Survive an onslaught of attacks from incoming waves of enemies. Prepare before the Battle to best complement each of the Agents and plan equipment loadout. Survive for a number of turns.

Class or Faction Based Missions

Missions based on the faction or roles of your Agents will be the criteria for participation. Earn interesting rewards that promote the growth of the Agent from that faction or role.
